IT Training (ICTP)

Floor Walking
‘Floor walking’ is the perfect solution for providing users with onsite support post training and especially in the first few days of a system deployment.
Floor walking plays an important part in providing reassurance to users, knowing that an expert is on hand to assist with any query can also help to reduce support calls during a busy time, the floorwalkers would be able to assist and help filter any support issues to ensure problems are solved quickly and prior to the help desk being inundated with unnecessary calls and e-mails.
With a floorwalker being based on-site you can be confident that any system implementation will run smoothly.

Training Documentation
We also specialise in creating and producing training documentation specific to our customers needs. One of our major qualities is that of translating technical training documentation into layman’s terms.
Much technical documentation these days is written in a way that it ‘assumes’ the user has a level of technical knowledge and expertise which as we know, is not always the case, particularly if the documentation is based on, for example, a bespoke package of application software.
We all appreciate that it is by far the best method to provide classroom based training for your staff, however we also appreciate that this may not be possible because of cost, personnel or time constraints.
As a result, often the most ‘traditional’ method (Certainly in our experience) for many organisations these days to provide training for its users, and particularly new arrivals to the organisation, is to simply say,
“There’s the manual/user guide, there’s the PC workstation, now get on with it!”
The user is left to their own devices which can be quite daunting and can be seen as non supportive. Worse still …. If the user does not have a level of knowledge or expertise beforehand, there is no guarantee that they are doing the work correctly which can be quite costly to you as their employer and your company.
By translating this documentation into more layman’s terms and making it more clearly and easily understood, both you and your staff benefit much more. Anyone, regardless of their knowledge and expertise, can pick up the training documentation and ‘Get on with it’ with the minimum of supervision and support thus releasing valuable personnel resource to be utilised elsewhere saving you time and money.
